Welcome back to Ideas for LittleBigPlanet's Future Volume 3, and remember, if you're somehow both a LittleBigPlanet Developer and you managed to find this page, if you wish to use ANY ideas for an upcoming update, or what have you, just send me an E-mail (You don't have to be specific on which idea, I'd just at least like to know) and go on your merry way.
But it would be nice if I got the DLC for free or at a discounted price.

Global Settings Extra Options
LittleBigPlanet 3 had introduced multiple customisation options of the backgrounds used in levels, ranging from a way to move the background to your pleasing to changing the ambiance. And most of these things could be changed used Global Tweakers, except for one, the background itself. Already in LittleBigPlanet 3 there is an unused Background Tweaker, but it was cut before it reached full fruition. This would version would be simple, taking the background loading effect from LittleBigPlanet 1, once used, it would do the "Swish-through-background-changing-sequence" thing and you would end in the customised background of your choosing.
LittleBigPlanet 2 had added MANY features that were mostly displayed in the story mode, one of these features was the level-type. The current level types are Cooperative, Versus, and Cinematic. But I suggest not one but two more level types, Grouping/Team Versus and Gallery (Best name I could think of). Grouping/Team Versus is an eight player experience, the only thing that would prevent every level from becoming one of these is that there is less thermometre space. This could be used in anything from two teams of four players fighting in one level. Gallery is basically the RPG gift from the gods, it's cooperative but with versus' separate cameras and even a split-screen.

LittleBigPlanet Karting - Overdrive
LittleBigPlanet Karting was a fun game that felt more easy to use than Modnation, and was more fun in general to most Mario Karts. The only thing that held it back was that it had a difficult create mode, which lacked online multiplayer support and wasn't exactly easy to use materials. And maybe another thing that wasn't great for the game was that ALL of the DLC wasn't in the LBP2 store (meaning 90% of the LBP community never got the rares), also the Hoard costume was never available. And the whole server-shutting-down thing.
Okay, there were a lot of problems in the game. Most of these problems could have been caused by a rushed launch, and the servers were shut down near the end of the game's life cycle.
LBPK O could have the playable characters with different play styles, OddSock : fast with low control, Toggle : Slow with High control, Swoop : Moderate-to-fast with high jumps and average control, and Sackboy : Average all around.

Assorted Item Ideas
Pizza Material - I don't know why, but I've always wanted a restaurant theme in LittleBigPlanet, mainly for the whole concept of food materials (Such as the ice cream one seen in the LittleBigPlanet HUB screenshots). The Pizza material could be either sponge or polystrene, would have have a border of crust, and would have a main texture of a "Supreme" type of pizza.
Ungiven Materials - Since LittleBigPlanet 1, we've had the Lava material, something that nearly EVERYONE has wanted in their Pop-It. Of course, not all of the materials can be transferred over easily (Certain ones will always crash the game, probably), and most will have to be edited to work in game. The Lava material can be made into having a base colour of white rather than orange (so that when you tweak its pallet it doesn't look too weird).

Extra Border Options
With LBP3 came an enhancement of the Material Tweaker, this enhancement allowed the player to remove the border on the material. What annoys me is that this doesn't allow you to choose your border (Having the Starfield Material and wishing to have a Sponge border, or Basic Wood with a Cardboard border).
