Almost every LittleBigPlanet player has discovered that there were multiple themes that went unused, and that they were originally meant for a release as a DLC. Those themes were The Seaside, Russian Theatre ,Japanese Window, and American Trainyard (There are multiple names for this theme). No one really know how the story would have worked with this many themes, if they would be added on or if they were replaced by the current themes.
The Russian Theatre
This theme is one of the least know themes, if there aren't any themes that the public doesn't know about then this is the one with the least amount of knowledge. The Russian Theatre's theme was based around, what else, a theatre. Presumably this theme was supposed to be the penultimate theme, being your last stop before facing the Collector himself, or the theme in which you faced him. The Interactive Music was going to be what's now known as Party Ghouls, any other information about music and sounds is unknown, though some believe it was going to be a musical theme. Using the Musical Instruments sound object frequently, and having you do musical things.
This Theme's actual name is currently unknown since it was cut very early in the process with the only cut content left in the games being the Name, background noise, and the Music track. It is presumed that if the theme were to have survived, it would have been called The Theatre.

The Japanese Window
Obviously related to The Islands somehow, this theme also has very little known about it. While we know that the Russian Theatre would have taken place on a stage with an audience, this one is so ambiguous that we don't know if it was rural or urban Japan. If it was rural Japan then this would have been a replacement for The Islands, had it been Urban, then it would've taken place in Tokyo and would be (Presumably) a different theme.
Like the Theatre, very little is known about this theme and very little is left in the game. The only remaining content is the Interactive Music Track "Wise Owl", the background noise, and the name. It also doesn't have a "modern" theme name, and there really isn't any way for there to be one. If anything, it would be called The Window, and that sounds more like an Indie Horror Game rather than a LittleBigPlanet Theme.

The American Trainyard
This would have taken place right before The Metropolis, presumably. We can all guess what this background would look like, it would be a trainyard with gravel on the ground, a cart in the background, some tracks, some foliage if they were generous, and you would play in between two other carts that were in the foreground. As with the other themes, there's the possibility that this may have been The Metropolis at one point. Replace the cars with trains, make Mags an engineer or captain, and make the conflict about stolen trains, train robberies, or even just fuel being stolen.
The Interactive Music Track is now known as "Well Trained", and the background sounds also remain. Its "modern" name would be The Trainyard or The Countryside.
As I am a big fan of Trains, this would have been a fun theme to play around in, with fast paced platforming segments that take place on top of a train, to a survival level where you have to avoid burning coals, or even a boss segment where you have to knock them off the train with a crane or something. This theme had (and Has, wink wink) so many possibilities, and it is really sad to see it go.

The Seaside
This is the only theme that has both an official "modern" and "old" name, which are The Seaside and The English Seaside. This theme was the last to be cut, thus being the most completed. The Background has also appeared multiple times, and is expected to reappear in the upcoming LittleBigPlanet HUB.
Most of the goodies were then moved to other themes, ever wondered why there were Beachchair materials in The Metropolis, The Seaside. Beachball in The Gardens, Seaside. White Panels in The Canyons, Engraved Metal in The Savannah (That one always bothered me), Big Crab Claw in The Savannah, Ghost Pirate, Mermaid, and many more, The Seaside is responsible. So much of it left in the game, getting to point where's actual dialogue, object descriptions, and possibly even the Water Feature left in the coding. And that's not even mentioning the Ice Cream Truck Sticker.
We desperately need these themes, I could live without The Theatre, and The Window (if it's rural), but we need The Seaside and The Trainyard/Countryside. If you use my old Beachside Level Pack idea, at least make the Ice Cream Truck Sticker the prize for acing the final level.
